About New Year 2020 | Notice | We are making various prayers for everyone in Fukuyama, and many people visit the shrine for a red stamp.

We hope that everyone will be able to visit us with peace of mind as we welcome the New Year, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

About the New Year period

・We kindly ask you to spread out your prayers.

December 10th to 29th, 2022 will be the period of "Kousakemode" (appreciating God for the year in December and wishing for happiness in the new year) .

Please consider visiting the shrine for good luck and visiting after February.

・We will start awarding New Year's charms, talismans, arrow rakes, lucky charms, etc. from December 10th.

・Arrow rakes and lucky charms will be ready until the end of February.

*Please note that the sale will end as soon as the arrow rake and lucky charms are sold out.

Response to visitors

・Please refrain from visiting if you have a fever, cough, fatigue, or are feeling unwell.

・When visiting the shrine, please wear a mask and maintain a social distance.

・We will set up posters and call attention.

・Alcohol disinfection is required when giving and receiving amulet and firstfruits fee.

We will not hand it over directly, but will handle it at a dedicated folding table.

・Prayers will be held by limiting the number of people in the shrine depending on the situation.

About the grounds

・Disinfectants will be installed at various places such as the amulet receiving office and prayer reception desk.

・Regularly disinfect and disinfect areas that are touched by many people.

・In the chozuya, we will remove the ladle and prohibit its use.

・We will maintain a line for amulets and omikuji to avoid crowding.

・The route will be one-way on the 3rd day. We will guide you to visit the shrine from the bridge and return to the street vendor.

* Those who go to Myo-in Temple for purposes other than worship will be guided by security guards.

・We will limit the number of people at the amulet, arrow rake, and omikuji distribution areas so that they are not crowded.

Measures for shrine staff

・We will thoroughly wear a mask, measure temperature, wash hands, and disinfect.

・We will thoroughly ventilate the amulet office, etc.
